Basic Collection organizes a chair upcycling exhibition and charity auction as part of the Budapest Design Week series on the 10th October.
The amounts raised during the bids will go to Démétér Foundation. Many well-known artists, prominent individuals and companies joined the program.
Basic Collection participates in the Design Week series for the third time and hosts a large-scale exhibition and charity auction. We invited 11 well-known artists to pick chairs from our collection and transform them into art objects according to their own style, giving them new meaning.

The event will be hosted in the Great Hall of Flashback Photo Studio on the 10th October, where the short films about the artists will be shown to the public and the art pieces will be exhibited and auctioned. The amounts raised during the bids will go to Démétér Foundation.
Démétér House operates in the area of Szent László Hospital and helps the healing process of children who have undergone bone marrow transplantation. The donations will be used to renovate the old wing of the building.
Participation in the event is free, but registration is required. Please register at marketing@basiccollection.hu!

Among the contributors, Basic Collection will draw four design chairs on October 14th.
We are proud to announce that during the Chair.ity event, donors have raised 1,456,500 HUF for the Démétér Foundation and children in need. The donations will be used to renovate the old wing of the Démétér House so that their little Heroes can continue to heal in a friendly and beautiful environment. Thanks to all donors for their generous donations!
Our Chair.ity prize draw has come to an end as well and between the Chair.ity donors, we have drawn the winners on the 14. October.
