Bombay Budapest is a modern, contemporary Indian restaurant in the V. district.

Four Indian friends decided to start a joint venture in Budapest. They wanted to open a restaurant that would surely win the appreciation of the international and increasingly demanding Hungarian gastronomic public and where they could feel at home, too. Is Bombay Budapest authentic? Of course it’s authentic, as the owners and the nine members of the kitchen staff are all from India.

The restaurant’s exclusivity is characterized by the fact that its kitchen is run by chef Radha Krishna, whose art is recognized with many gastronomic awards, as well as Mátyás Szik - the three-time Hungarian champion sommelier chooses the wines and the perfumer Zsolt Zólyomi, who created the restaurant's own fragrances.

You can expect that such a list can’t be completed without Basic Collection’s unique design furniture and you are right! We have recreated India with silky velvet upholstery and with the luxurious and clean glow of gold. The vivid use of colors come to a clear focus point with the use of complementary pair of red and blue, which is in harmony with discreet tones of heavy marble.
