This unique building
and story of the hotel required us to furnish it with truly individual pieces. Therefore, we provided seating furniture solutions upholstered with leather and fur.
For Baranowitz + Kronenberg this project represented the challange to ’think out of the box’ „to set aside terminologies that we would normally use when designing hotels, and bring in a different vocabulary instead”. The monumental building which hosts the hotel with its interesting background (a former diamond factory) represents another reason of charm and inspiration for Baranowitz + Kronenberg. The challange of function didn’t have to interrupt the dialogue between the building and the enviroment.
